What is a government funded traineeship?

A traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience, focused on giving 16-24 year olds the skills and experience that employers are looking for.

How do employers benefit from getting involved?

Traineeships help employers build a pool of high quality new recruits, who know their sector well, and work to the needs of the business.

What are the employer’s responsibilities?

Employers are asked to commit to offering a high quality work experience placement lasting a minimum of 100hrs, with support and on-going supervision. An exit interview for a job in your company/ feedback for progression
